A New Agar's

Agar’s Pavilion is on its last legs. It has been unloved for too long and is not what it should be.
The pavilion started life rather beautifully but it has been updated and modernised in piecemeal fashion over the past 75 years.
The results were never that successful aesthetically nor practically; in addition, the fabric of the building has deteriorated dramatically.
The pavilion now has a much wider range of purposes in addition to cricket. It is also now used in the Michaelmas and Lent halves as a soccer and Field Games changing room.
The School is looking to restore Agar's Pavilion to its former glory, however, a project like this will not be cheap. A trusted quantity surveyor estimates the work at £800,000, including fees.
