The basketball club, known as the ‘Eton Penguins’, plays fixtures against a wide range of schools, both in county competitions and in friendly matches against other public schools. The club has won the county cup and league title at senior level, and has reached the cup final at U16 level, but the standard varies from year to year a great deal. In addition to school games, there are house pairs competitions which are hotly contested. The club is particularly popular with boys who live overseas, and we usually benefit from the expertise of the Annenburg Fellow (the American Master-in-residence).
Boys can get a taste of the game during F block minor sports afternoons, and can come to club practices in the evenings. In addition to school games, there are house three-on-three competitions that are hotly contested.
