Summer Half Games Report

We enjoyed a packed summer half with boys once again taking part in a wide range of sports.

In cricket our team won the annual tournament against Harrow at Lords in front of a large crowd including many OEs. At the Henley Royal Regatta the VIII made it as far as the quarter finals after a successful set of results in the National Schools.

Among the many individual achievements were Tade Ojora (AW) (U17 100m hurdles) and Dan Igbokwe (MJP) (U19 Triple Jump) who were selected to compete at the English School Athletics Championships.

In football congratulations go to Freddie Christian (JDN) who played for the Independent Schools national U15 football team at a tournament held at Manchester United’s Carrington training ground. Freddie played in matches for ISFA who held their own impressively against premier league academy teams from Manchester United, Aston Villa and Burnley.

Our under 15s Football squad was Highly Commended by the Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) for outstanding commitment to fair play and respect towards opponents and match officials.
