The OE Fives Fund
The OE Fives Fund has been established to help sustain Fives as a sport at Eton.
To date the Fund has made an important financial contribution to the salary of Eton's first professional Fives coach.
Over the past few years there has been a renewed interest which has seen more boys playing Fives than any other minor sport.
The Fund is currently contributing £10,000 per annum towards the School’s costs for coaching, however, the majority of the funds raised so far will not continue much beyond 2015.
With so few Fives-playing masters at any school we need to plan on the basis that a Fives coach will become essential if Fives is to continue to flourish in the School. On that assumption a target of raising a further £50,000 over the next 5 years has been set.
