The JSBP Fund

Established in 2008 by OEs, friends and admirers of John Peake, a former Eton Master and House Master,  the JSBP Fund is a new bursary fund to complement the travel award already funded in his memory.

This bursary will support boys whose families need assistance with fees, particularly those whose commitment to sportsmanship, teamwork and generosity reflects the ideals of John Peake.  In addition to academic accomplishment the recipient will be expected to excel in other activities, whether that be games, the theatre, music, design, the visual arts or even some sort of unusual hobby. From time-to-time proceeds from the fund may also be used to support rowing.

Over £155,000 has been received to date and a number of donors are continuing to make additional contributions which will see the total rise to over £175,000. The objective is to double that figure over the next several years so that the fund can provide even greater support to deserving boys in the future.

Giving Back

Every gift matters. Regular donations can add up quickly and benefit from favourable tax treatment. The 1440 Society, recognising donors of £100 a month (or an annual equivalent) is a case in point.
