Literary Society

On Tuesday 4th February the Literary Society commemorated the centenary of Dylan Thomas' birth with a special screening of the cult film 'Under Milk Wood' based on his 1954 radio play. The director Andrew Sinclair OE afterwards delivered a talk and participated in a Q&A session on his 1972 production discussing in particular the difficulty in getting the film made and working with stars such as Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor and Peter O'Toole. It was a fantastic evening in Election Hall with about 50 boys attending. It was a yet another splendid evening for the Literary Society, in a year already full of highlights.
