Slough & East Berkshire CofE Multi Academy Trust (SEBMAT)

Slough and East Berkshire CofE Multi Academy Trust (SEBMAT) was established in 2013 to form a group of schools which can support each other to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people in Slough and the nearby areas. This group of schools includes primary and secondary schools with a Church of England link. They will share good practice and develop joint training programmes while reducing costs through combined procurement. Slough and Eton Business & Enterprise College and Colnbrook Primary and the Eton Porny School are the first three schools in SEBMAT.

The Provost serves as a member of the Slough & East Berkshire Multi-Academy Trust, the Vice-Provost is a director and an Eton master serves as a member of the local governing body for Slough & Eton. Through involvement in SEBMAT, Eton hopes to help improve educational outcomes for young people in our local area from primary level upwards.

During the year, a team from Eton's Collections delivered outreach at Colnbrook Primary and planning is underway for further activities in the next academic year. The mentoring of students by Eton boys for Maths and English GCSE and Maths AS and A2 continued at Slough & Eton CofE Business and Enterprise College.
