Last week, the Revd. Richard Lloyd-Morgan delivered the second installment of the Lyttleton Address, the school’s annual lecture on theology.

The Reverend drew a substantial crowd and delivered a talk in which he combined his profound insight into theology with his passion for music. He started off by describing his spiritual connection to music, which developed over the course of his 20-year career as an opera singer. The audience was then shown several clips of musical performances by artists who resonate most with the Reverend, including renowned soprano Maria Callas.

The address also yielded much conversation on the subject of the role of the Bible in personal worship as Revd. Lloyd-Morgan shared his thought-provoking views on the matter.

The talk was certainly highly interesting and original, and the Revd. Lloyd-Morgan was received with a large, and well-deserved, closing round of applause.
