40 C block geographers spent 2 nights last week at the wonderful Colehayes Park on the edge of Dartmoor. Forays into the National Park centred on the geomorphology of the characteristic granite landscapes and the impact of rivers on the landscape. Human settlement and land use were also themes studied with a visit to Burrator reservoir and a passing look at HM Prison Princetown.
