On the 10th of January, 57 Holyport students gathered with 58 C Blockers for a pub quiz in School Hall. Both schools were intermingled into teams of 7 or 8. Run by quizmistress Lesley Brewis, the quiz was themed with ‘Follow on’, ‘Back to Front’ and ‘Alphabet’ rounds, which ensured an original spread of knowledge-testing methods. At supper time, a short interval allowed Holyport students to return to Etonians’ houses or Bekynton for a quick meal before relaunching back into the quiz. The set up provided excellent opportunity to interact with the other Year 12s and to make new friends outside of the school environment.
