In the inaugural meeting of the Vikings' Society, we were lucky enough to welcome a multi-time World Champion and recent Olympic gold medallist, in our very own Constantine Louloudis. Throughout the night he took us through each step of his career, highlighting the importance of teamwork and reminiscing the fond memories he had made along the way. Of particular interest was the recount of his thrilling Olympic final in which he expressed his utter confidence in his crew even when the Australians were pushing back at them. Speaking for the entire audience, it was very special to hear and see someone who had gone the distance in our sport, yet was sitting where we were seven years before.
