On the 5th November four representatives from the Early Careers team at J.P. Morgan described the variety of recruitment processes they run and what they look for in successful applicants.

Their degree-level apprenticeship programme is highly successful at recruiting a diverse cohort with a variety of mind-sets. The regulatory backdrop to the banking industry may have changed but this has not dimmed JP Morgan’s search for the finest recruits to staff the many different parts of their business. Graduate level recruitment was also discussed and the importance of work experience was emphasised: approximately 80% of graduate recruits had already done work experience with the company.

JPM is the sixth largest tech company in the world and data is a major part of their business.
