This week, the Social Impact Society hosted Uday Khemka, an entrepreneur and philanthropist dedicated to raising awareness of climate change, who began with the powerful message that however impossible change may seem, there is hope for the future. Mr Khemka spoke about the enormous challenge of tackling climate change, explaining that some social issues can be resolved single-handedly but climate change must be tackled by far more than individuals. He said that, “every person should use the greatest lever they have, whether it be financial power or connections to organisations, to help in the fight against climate change”.

We want to thank Mr Khemka for inspiring us to continue the conversation around climate change, as he reminded us great things have happened when you get people talking and working together.
