Italian Study Trip - Easter 2009

Eight C Blockers visited Imperia for the first full week of the holiday (March 21st-28th). This was the ninth consecutive year that I have run this trip, and once again, it worked extremely well both from a language-learning and social perspective.
Boys were looked after by warm, caring (and at this point experienced) host families, and were given 20 hours of teaching over the course of the week, as well as what one described as an “wonderfully chaotic” morning at a local liceo. Guided tours of historic centres were arranged in Albenga, as well as San Remo and Imperia. Social activities included a theatre trip, a football match and a pizza evening,
Once again, I am extremely grateful to Michel Marty, his colleague Renato Erasmo (director of the language school) and the generous host families for all they do for our boys.
