Editorial Society:
Mr Fergus Shanahan,
Deputy Editor of The Sun

On Friday, 5th February, we were delighted to welcome Fergus Shanahan, Executive Editor of The Sun to give us a talk. He focused on the future of printed newspapers, pointing towards a subscription fee for internet coverage. He then explained the ever increasing impact of the law on his trade before revealing the truth about working for Rupert Murdoch. Speaking to a packed Upper School, Mr Shanahan then took half an hour of incisive questions before the evening closed as a great success.
