Law Society:
Tim Godwin OBE on Criminal Justice

Mr Godwin OBE, Deputy Comissioner of the London Metropolitan Police, addressed a large turnout on the "challenge and subsequent reform of criminal justice". Being so actively involved in the running of the police force, Mr. Godwin successfully captured the imaginations of all the boys present with ease, describing in some detail how the police department really functions and the problems it faces. After the address many questions were posed, some of which focused in on the capital’s drug problems. Mr. Godwin explained the difficulties the police force are up against in the fight against drugs, and used first hand examples to clarify his points. Our thanks to Mr. Godwin for a most enjoyable and insightful evening.
