The Bishop of Oxford at Eton

The Bishop of Oxford gave the address in College Chapel on Sunday 11th January. This was the Bishop's second visit to  Eton since becoming Bishop of Oxford in 2007. John Pritchard read law at Oxford and then  after a time working as a lawyer, he was ordained. In 1996 he  became Archdeacon of Canterbury, then in 2002  Bishop of Jarrow (in the diocese of Durham). He is a prolific writer and a widely sought after speaker. He has, as he sees it, a special responsibilty to communicate what the Christian Faith is about in straight-forward language.

Please find attached a transcript of the address.
