Accessing the Collections



Eton’s three museums, the Natural History Museum, the Eton Museum of Antiquities and the Museum of Eton Life, are open to the public on Sunday afternoons from 2.30-5.00pm. Admission is free. Please contact the Museum Officer for further information.

Eton College Museums



The Collections also hold regularly changing exhibitions in the Verey Gallery and the Tower Gallery, which may be viewed by appointment. Please contact the Collections Administrator to enquire.

Heritage tours of Eton College

A seasonal programme of guided tours is offered of the historic heart of Eton College, featuring many of the Foundation buildings and objects from the College Collections.

Public and family events

The Collections periodically participate in local and national events, and hold special events which are open to the public. 



Researchers and enquiries

We welcome researchers who wish to consult the Collections for scholarly projects and historical and genealogical studies. 
Please direct research enquiries and requests for appointments to the Collections Administrator

Specialist groups

We host special interest groups with a professional, academic or specific amateur interest in particular items in the Collections. 

Please be advised that group size and availability are limited, and booking well in advance is essential. Please contact the Collections Administrator for more information and to enquire about availability.

The Collections catalogue and digitised resources are available online for consultation.


Imaging services

Please refer to our imaging services page for information on requesting images of items in the Collections and obtaining 
permission to reproduce such images.
