Eton might not be what you expect. With around 1000 staff in a variety of teaching and support roles, today’s school is a progressive and increasingly diverse community.
We are committed to creating and sustaining an environment that values and celebrates the diversity of its staff and boys. We are looking for people who can bring new perspectives, life experiences and skills that will enrich our community and the learning of our boys both inside and outside the classroom. If you share our holistic vision of education and are keen to embrace the challenges and rewards of life in a full-boarding school, we would love to hear from you.
We believe that all our staff deserve the fullest support in achieving their own potential and unlocking that of our boys and there is enormous collegiality at Eton.
Life at Eton is rich, varied, exciting, challenging and immensely rewarding – for boys and staff alike. The academic staff are supported by approximately 750 staff who are responsible for the smooth running of the school. Whether you are responsible for the finances or other administration of the School, preparing laboratories, looking after libraries, working in our theatres, keeping up the appearances of our gardens and grounds, maintaining and repairing our ancient and modern buildings, or cleaning rooms and cooking meals for the boys, everyone plays their part in the Eton community. Eton College rewards all staff by offering a wide range of benefits, including a general pension scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, enhanced Maternity / Paternity scheme, free eyecare vouchers, a cycle to work scheme, subsidised lunches during term time, free access to the College’s sport and leisure facilities and discount at local retailers and businesses.
Eton College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers, an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and an online search. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
