To ensure the best experience for all visitors, tours are limited to the prospective candidate and his parents or guardians only.

Tours for entry at 13+:

Our tours are held throughout the academic year and you may now register for a place on a tour in our Michaelmas Half (Autumn Term).

Admissions tours usually take place on Mondays and Wednesdays during term time, and we recommend touring once your son turns nine years old.

Your tour will begin with a greeting by the Head Master or his Deputy, followed by a walking tour of the main parts of the campus led by a current Year 12 Eton boy. The Director of Admissions or his Deputy will then show you a short film and talk through the admissions process. The afternoon ends with refreshments and an opportunity to meet younger Eton boys (lessons permitting).

Occasionally, we have places available in Year 10. In the first instance, please contact Admissions to discuss availability.

Tours for entry in Sixth Form:

We offer Sixth Form tours in June and September, providing a unique opportunity to explore Eton College and discover how our Sixth Formers balance academic excellence with a rich co-curricular life.

Please note we do not run tours on weekends.

Our next Sixth Form tour will be held in June 2027 for entry in 2028. You will be able to register for the tour in 2027. If you have missed our 2026 tours for entry in 2027, please contact the Admissions team at [email protected] to discuss whether an individual tour could be possible.

Tours for Orwell Award Sixth Form entry:

Applications for the Orwell Award for entry in 2027 have now closed. The next dedicated Orwell Award tour will be held in 2027, for entry in 2028.
