We are delighted to welcome all disabled visitors. Please bear in mind that many of our buildings are old, so access is not always as easy as we would wish. If planning a visit to a location not listed below, please contact us in advance and we will do all we can to facilitate your visit.

Toilet Facilities

Disabled toilets are available in Brewhouse Yard.

For mobility-impaired visitors

The following buildings have step-free access from the street and are suitable for wheelchair users:

  • Museum of Eton Life
  • School Hall
  • Farrer Theatre
  • Music Schools
  • Drawing Schools
  • Science department, including Egerton Room
  • Marten Schools
  • Bekynton
  • College Chapel (via the choir door and a stairlift, please contact us in advance)
  • Some boarding house areas are wheelchair accessible but please contact the house master in advance to make arrangements.

For hearing-impaired visitors

Induction loop systems for hearing aid users are installed in the following locations:

  • Porters’ Lodge
  • Visitor Centre
  • College Chapel
  • College Hall

For visually-impaired visitors

We are happy to provide large-print versions of programmes for plays and concerts and any other documentation on request. Please contact us with your requirements.
