Two very good and old school relay records fell on Thursday 6 May at the prestigious Achilles relay event in Oxford.

The senior 4 x 400m team of Leo Morris (PJMcK), Joe Murdy (RPDF), Shane Adams (IH) and Dom Smith (MJP) knocked a second and a half off the 1998 record of D.M.T. St. George, T.E.M. Allason, D.J.B. Luard and F.F.H. Wright as they took gold. The new record is 3.25.3.

The intermediate 4 x 200m team of Gus Jones (DMG), Lesley Dickson-Tetteh (DMG), Sam Williams KS and Charlie Harris (PBS) broke a 34 year-old record held by J. St.G. Kelton, A.J.S. Ross, H. Phillimore and J.C. Ray. Their time was 1.38.3.

Many congratulations to those boys.
