The banks society was delighted to welcome Charlie Mayhew MBE on Thursday 27th February, to speak about the future of African wildlife. He talked to a full Natural History museum and his insightful talk highlighted the serious problems of poaching in Africa. He then spoke about the considerable work that the charity does, not only to fight poachers but also tackling the important issue of educating young Africans. Describing the methods to counteract poachers, and uses of modern technology, Mr Mayhew touched upon ways to get involved with the issue.
