On 6th March the Television Society had the privilege of welcoming small-screen legend Peter Bennett-Jones CBE. Having had an astonishingly diverse career, Mr Bennett-Jones spoke about his experiences as a television producer (having founded the renowned hit-factory Tiger Aspect) and talent agent, telling stories of representing the likes of Rowan Atkinson and Harry Enfield. Mr Bennett-Jones emphasised the power of TV and how it can be used as a vehicle for change, recalling his experiences as chairman of Comic Relief. His talk in Upper School was very funny, and a privileged insight into the workings of the British TV industry from one of the most important men in the business.
