Eton pupils Tade Ojora and Dan Igbokwe have both returned with bronze medals, following the English Schools’ Athletic Association’s National Championships in Gateshead this weekend.

Tade (AW ) came third in the Inter Boys 100m Hurdles Final, with a time of 13.26 seconds, just 0.03 seconds behind his nearest rival.

Dan (MJP) jumped 14.38 metres to come third in the Senior Boys Triple Jump final.

“Both Dan and Tade have worked extremely hard this season and we are delighted with their results at Gateshead,” said Neil Jeffery, the master in charge of athletics at Eton. “It was frustrating for Tade to have been pipped to silver by such a small margin, but both boys should be proud of what they have achieved.”
