Forty delegates form fifteen schools came to Eton on January 28th for a seminar of the creative use of IT in teaching.
As well as learning how to use a tablet more effectively – with expert instruction from manufacturers – the audience discussed the use of creative products in teaching across the curriculum.
Topics covered included photo- manipulation, virtual classrooms for communications and electronic collaboration between different establishments. For over three hours teachers from a wide range of subject and schools were able to see where creative software and services will develop in the next few years.
We will be holding a similar event after the move to the new Design Schools in the summer.
