Last week, the Eton College Cross Country team went to Radley College to compete in the annual relays. Harsh weather made for tricky running conditions but the boys dealt with them fantastically. The Senior Boys A team dominated winning the overall competition by almost 50 seconds. The Junior Boys A team followed by the seniors’ example and finished first in another comfortable victory. Special mention must go to the beaks’ team who finished 10th overall thanks to some brilliant running from Mr Settle with a leg time of 11:22. Finally, well done to James Barnes (12:11) and Harry Chappell (11:21) who won the fastest individual leg time for the Junior and Senior age category respectively. Overall, the boys (and beaks) can be very proud of their efforts and the team looks forward to the race at Harrow in a few weeks time.
