Congratulations to Harry Elliott KS & Toby Tricks KS on winning the grand final of the Dulwich Schools Debating Competition – the season opener. They were speaking in opposition to the motion that the West should always invade any military power that uses chemical or biological weapons.
Harry and Toby came first in each of their five debates. In the individual speaker rankings, Toby came top with 329 points, and Harry came second with 328 points. Our other senior pair, Kelvin Anim (SAL) & Reece Weaver (MJP), came an excellent 5th out of approximately 80 teams.
Our junior pairs of George Elliott (ASR) & Jacob Cheli KS and Satvik Subramaniam OS (SAL) & Aryan Coram (AMM) also did well, making creditable debuts in senior debating.
