The Design and Engineering Society met in the Design Schools and 35 boys attended. Tom Holliday OE who is studying Product Design at Central St Martin's came back to Eton to give a talk about what working in Art and Design is like after school. He took us through his creative portfolio and spoke about what he has learnt from each stage of his career so far. He also talked about the designers and photographers who have inspired him and stressed the importance of being able to draw effectively when designing.
