Entrepreneurial Society: Tim Richards

Tim Richards, founder and CEO of Vue Entertainment, visited the Entrepreneurship Society on Thursday October 4th. A comedic highlight came at the beginning of the talk when one boy’s phone rang, to which Mr Richards wittily admonished, “You could get kicked out of the cinema for that!” Mr Richards gave some helpful advice for entrepreneurs, stressing the need for passion and determination, but he also gave us a preview of future innovations that his business is developing. Video game functions, laser projection technology, improved 3-D capability and coverage of sporting events are all on the horizon-we look forward to seeing how these develop.
