The Entrepreneurship Society on Thursday 6th March had a strong turnout for a fantastic event with Seb James OE, the CEO of Dixons Group. A lively and entertaining speaker, Mr James discussed the strategies he implements as CEO of Dixons, such as decisions to be a price taking firm to compete with Amazon. Emphasising the importance of strong in-store service, he gave us a great insight into an impressive business which employs 36,000 workers, and looks to expand in the future.
