Eton Action Fair record total raised
Saturday’s Eton Action Fair raised a record £29,888, to be distributed amongst the following charities: Cancer Research UK, The Vanessa Grant Trust, Thames Hospicecare, The Marine Conservation Society, NSPCC and Five Talents. The Jumble Sale in School Hall contributed £5400 to the total, and the rest was raised by the Houses and their efforts in, amongst others things, offering food, smashing plates, telling fortunes, soaking scholars, raffles, tombolas and silent auctions. Stallholders from external charities also raised thousands of pounds from their work on the day. David Fox, the Master who runs the whole event, extends his thanks to all those who help to make the day such a success.
