On 22 July the Carpe Diem Open Water Swimming Society successfully completed a Channel crossing.
Under the expert guidance of Mr Adams, Archie Walker (JCAJ), Gordon Martinez-Piedra (NPTL), Harry Moross (NPTL), James Quillen (NCWS), Sam Russell (NA) and Mr Maclennan swam the channel in 13 hours and 28 minutes arriving at Wissant Beach at 21:30 local time.
The boys swam the Channel on behalf of Alport UK (http://www.alportuk.org) and raised £15,687 in the process. An amazing achievement!
