Eton is awarded the London Borough of Hounslow Jubilee Cup
Over competition from a range of organisations including Sky, IBM, BP, the Army, DHL and many more, Eton College was awarded The Jubilee Cup given by the London Borough of Hounslow to the organisation that has helped school students most effectively. Eton provides places for pupils from Hounslow on its annual Universities Summer School and was nominated for the award by St Mark’s School, Hounslow. Two pupils from the school have recently been invited to attend interviews at Oxford University and say that they gained the edge by attending the course at Eton in July. The award was presented by Hanif Khan, the President of the Hounslow Chamber, at an occasion at the Longford Community School organised by the Partnership Challenge for Education and Business.
