Fast Lane Society Mr David Coulthard and Mr Alec Stewart
A celebrity-filled evening in Upper School saw David Coulthard and Alec Stewart tackle the second Fast Lane Society meeting this half. The evening was not without drama – Alec Stewart arrived (to rapturous applause from the audience, and much to the delight of the cricketers) halfway through the evening after being stuck in snow. He went on to present a humorous recollection of his career in the England Cricket team. David Coulthard presented a more factually-focused take on Formula One – its history and, interestingly, its future before candidly answering some questions. The evening was a great success and the insight into the lives of two great sportsmen was received warmly by an appreciative crowd.
