On Friday 11th October, the Hispanic Society welcomed its second ambassador of the year, the Chargé d'Affaires of Mexico, Alejandro Estivill. The talked touched upon many aspects of Mexican foreign policy, including its development from a defensive and non-active nation to one that is now prominent on the world stage due to its strong trade links with the United States. It was yet another accessible and thought-provoking meeting which continued the Society's ongoing theme of diplomacy in Latin America.
