Oxford Union Schools Debating Competition
Harry Elliott KS and Toby Tricks KS have won the grand final of the Oxford Union Schools Debating Competition. They were speaking in opposition to an embargo on arms for rebel forces in Syria.
Harry was also highest ranked individual speaker, while Toby was ranked third.
George Clay OS ME (TEJN) &Jamie Jackson OS (SAL) came 15th and Kelvin Anim (SAL) & Reece Weaver (MJP) came 26th out of a total of over 700 teams.
This news is particularly welcome after George & Jamie's recent victory in the grand final of the Cambridge Union Schools Debating Competition.
