The Photographic Society was very lucky to welcome Alison Jackson on the 14th January. She gave us all a detailed insight into her work as a celebrity spoof photographer, and why she does it, explaining that she aims to highlight the problem of celebrity culture in modern society. She went on to show a vast selection of her photographs to the audience, including a video of David Beckham visiting Eton with Brooklyn (his son) a few years ago. Questions were answered fully and in lots of detail; it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
