RSM Careers Day: So you want to be a doctor?
On Saturday 26th June Eton hosted a Medical Careers Day for sixth-form students. Speakers from Oxford, Imperial, UEA and UCL gave practical advice about how to make the most of the application process. In the afternoon, the focus was on explaining the realities of medical life and the different possible career-tracks available. The day was organised in conjunction with the Royal Society of Medicine and it’s the first meeting of its kind to take place outside London. Over seventy students attended from as far afield as Yorkshire.
