Bear Grylls returned to Eton for the first time in six years, filling School Hall for the Shackleton Society’s first meeting of the year. The meeting took the form of a question and answer session, hosted by Ivo McDonald (WFM). Mr Grylls spoke about his experiences at Eton, his dramatic sky-diving accident and his comeback to climb Everest as the youngest Briton ever. He then spoke about the development of his media career, leading up to his world famous series Born Survivor. Mr Grylls stressed the importance of pursuing one’s passions in spite of the difficulties that may be faced.
