On Monday the 24th February the Stockbroking Society welcomed David Schick, talking about how to succeed in a global banking industry. He rightfully began by emphasising that boys should only go into the banking sector for the right reason: to help society by ensuring a strong allocation of capital, before offering advice for success if they chose to do so. It was very interesting to hear not only about career success, but also about the changing nature of the banking industry in a globalised world, and the role it could play in society.
