The Debating Society: The US Presidential Debate

The Debating Society held a mock Presidential Debate between ‘President’ Kelvin Anim (SAL) and ‘Governor’ Harry Elliott KS. The turnout was unprecedented, with over one hundred members of the audience that piled into Upper School. Despite the moderator, Jamie Jackson OS (SAL), attempting to keep the candidates’ emotions in check, the bear pit atmosphere was definitely partial to the President, although Elliott had improved his support by the end.
The debate concluded with a victory for President Kelvin Anim.
