The Natural History Museum hosted Pi Club on Wednesday, 30 May. They are a group of 22 gifted and talented Year-5 mathematicians from several schools in Surrey. They looked first at symmetry in the natural world and then in detail at the maths behind it with Eton mathematician Mark Strutt. This is part of a developing collaboration with the Science Outreach Department at Royal Holloway University of London.
