On Monday 24th September His Excellency Professor Jean-Christophe Baron von Pfetten came in to speak to the Oriental Society. The talk, ‘China Insight: leadership, policy and new world order’, provided some incredible viewpoints on the political situation in China from someone who has worked closely with highest members for a number of years. The Q&A section was the highlight and Professor von Pfetten remarked on the intelligence of questions especially from those in the younger blocks. 40 people attended the talk held in Upper School.
