School Concert – Sunday 22 June 2025
This Summer Half’s School Concert comes to you from the Salata Auditorium, School Hall. The concert will feature:
Tchaikovsky: Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture
Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No.1 in B flat minor Op.23 (Soloist: Ryan Wang)

From our Composer in Residence
Inspired by the timeless passage from Bede’s Ecclesiastical History, Sparrowflight imagines a small bird’s flight alone on a stormy winter’s night. For a moment it enters through the window of a king’s banqueting hall—a strange place, but one filled with warmth and light. Flying out of the opposite end of the hall, it vanishes into the night beyond the horizon.
