Development Associate

We are looking to appoint a full-time Development Associate on a 2 year fixed term contract. The main purpose of the role is to learn about key aspects of a successful fundraising team and to provide support when needed from administration for mailings, prospect research, database cleansing, event management and support in writing reports. Appropriate training, support and advice will be given to develop your skills.

Closing date: Monday 8 August 2016 at noon

Interviews and assessments will take place week commencing 15 August 2016.

 

Groundsman

Due to the expansion of the Grounds Department we are looking for two Groundsmen to join the team. The role requires you to undertake grounds maintenance of playing surfaces and landscape to an exceptionally high standard as directed by a Supervisor. The ideal candidates will have previous experience within a similar role. Knowledge of cricket pitch maintenance would be an advantage.

Closing date: Friday 29 July 2016 at noon.

Interviews and assessments will take place week commencing 1 August 2016.

 

Assistant Chef (Live In)

We are recruiting an Assistant Chef in Holland House to start in September 2016. The ideal candidate must have a catering qualification and/or previous relevant experience in a similar role and have the ability to provide nutritious meals for the boys. Flexibility is required as you will be working 6 days per week including split shifts, evenings and some weekend work. This is a live out post.The role requires working with a small team but also unsupervised when covering for the Head Chef.  Having a passion for cooking as well the ability to work in a timely and efficient manner is essential.

House Chef

We are looking for a Chef to work in one of our Boarding Houses to provide fine dining and meals for the House including social functions, hospitality events and responsible for providing mid-morning snacks for the boys in the House. As this role requires you to work 6 days per week including split shifts, evenings and some weekend work, accommodation may be provided. The successful candidate must have a relevant catering qualification or previous experience within a similar environment, the ability to use their own initiative in a timely and efficient manner and have good communication skills particularly with young people.
