Chemistry Laboratory Technician

A full-time (term time plus extra days before and after each term) Laboratory Technician is required to work in the chemistry department, reporting to the Senior Technician.  Main duties will include setting up and clearing away demonstration apparatus and practical materials, working as part of a team with the other technicians to assist with the smooth running of this busy department.   Experience of working in a school chemistry/science department is desirable. Please click on the job title above to download a copy of the job description.

Archives Assistant (1 year fixed term contract)

We are seeking to recruit an Archives Assistant on a one year fixed term contract from September 2016.  This position is suitable for someone intending to apply for one of the recognised postgraduate archival courses or similar heritage sector qualification.  Please click on the job title above to download a copy of the job description.

Commis Chef

We require an ambitious Commis Chef to assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food in Bekynton, the College’s central dining facility. The ideal candidate must have a relevant catering qualification and previous kitchen experience.  Good communication skills, the ability to work as part of a close team and under high pressure in a fast paced kitchen is also essential.

Apprentice Carpenter & Joinery

We are looking for an Apprentice Carpenter & Joiner to join the Buildings department, working with the in-house Carpenters.  The apprenticeship is for 16-19 year olds.  There will be a mixture of onsite training and attendance at a local College, where you will work towards gaining an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Carpentry and Joinery. We are looking for an Apprentice Electrician to join the Buildings department, working with the in-house Electricians.  The apprenticeship is for 16-19 year olds.  There will be a mixture of onsite training and attendance at a local College, where you will work towards gaining an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Advanced Electrical Installation. Library Assistant (Part Time during Term Time)

A part-time Library Assistant working weekends during term-time (Saturday 8.30am-1.00pm, Sunday 2pm-7pm) is required for the School Library.  Main duties will include the issue and return of books, assisting boys and staff with general, reference and IT enquiries along with general supervision and other related duties.

Rowing Professional 

We are looking to appoint an innovative and well-qualified graduate to take on the role of Rowing Professional commencing September 2016. Based at our High Performance Centre, a state of the art land training facility at Dorney Lake, the Rowing Professional will report directly to the Master in charge of Rowing and work closely with the Coach of The VIII and other coaches to help run and develop our rowing programme.
