Charitable outreach and partnership are important to Eton College. The school spends £6.5m per annum on means-tested bursaries with 74 boys currently on 100% bursaries and a further 200 in receipt of significant financial support.  Eton is looking to develop further the many external educational partnerships that already exist and explore the possibilities of creating new links, both home and abroad. These will continue to include links with local state schools, with tertiary and charitable partners and with international institutions and organisations, promoting the global advancement of education.
