The MGMK Fund
OEs have recently established the MGMK Fund in honour of Michael Kidson, a much admired, inspirational and devoted Master and House Master at Eton.
The target is to raise at least £250,000 which would create a perpetual bursary and assist a boy who, for financial reasons, would not otherwise be able to benefit from an Eton education.
With most vivid memories of Michael intertwined with recollections of his history divisions, tutorial groups, racket matches or visits to historic houses, this bursary would be awarded to specialists (boys in sixth form) studying history with the intention of going on to read the subject at university.
To date over £40,000 has been received with a further £110,000 pledged over the next 10 years.
