The Medical Society met to listen to Alexander Young, an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in trauma. Mr Young spoke with great enthusiasm, informing us of his own experiences in medicine, from medical school in Bristol to working with flying doctors in Australia and threw in some medical history as well. He then went on to tell us about how assesses and treats his patients, before finishing with some advice on how to approach university applications. A great start in a long series of medical societies this half.
