The Eton College Natural History Museum welcomed local families as part of an afternoon of free, family friendly arachnid-themed activities for half term.

Over 35 children and adults braved the weather to venture to the museum for the drop-in session which took place on Monday 28th October.

The ‘Spooky Spiders’ event included a talk from the museum’s curator about the world of eight-legged creatures and visitors were encouraged to get up close to view spider and scorpion specimens from the museum’s collection.

Parents and children enjoyed working together to make their own brightly coloured, pipe-cleaner spiders and webs to take home with them at the end of the afternoon!
